Advertising on Vancouver Island Local Food
In our development of the web site, we have explored the use of new and emerging technology.
It’s exciting that new, inexpensive and easy tools are being developed to change the way we communicate. What becomes clear is this technology has the ability to transform the way we market businesses – if you can capture the attention of your audience and keep them informed.
This emerging social network is a powerful gateway to consumers and a direct way to engage the food and drink community. Using the strong established brand of Eat Magazine, we are building a web presence that will reach out to the public and become a useful tool. Our goal is to bring together people in a site that gives them accurate and timely information, filters through the maze of spam and junk info and provides a forum for feedback.
Our marketing service will focus on using these web technologies to provide you with immediate benefits. The site is linked to an established web presence (eatmagazine.ca) with over 25,000 visitors per month. The new site differs from the main Eat site in that it’s an interactive site – providing editorial comments, a community calendar, user feedback and comments.
Community building is at the heart of what we do and we’ll act as a free resource for non-profit groups to promote their activities and events. Our expertise in marketing, editing, photography, and in the regional food and drink scene makes the site a vehicle to truly showcase the region.
Our design encourages people to make repeat visits to the site. Advertising creates added exposure for your business and helps capture the attention of these visitors. We offer a number of affordable ways to magnify your message to a targeted audience of food lovers, local shoppers and visitors.
